This wheel-axle cart is superior (stronger, lighter, easier to build) to the bicycle-wheel cart; but the wheel-axle assemblies are unavailable in SSA.

These handcarts proved to be very useful, but the unavailability of the wheel-axle sets precluded their widespread adoption.
